How We Make Our Cornhole Boards
- 3/4-Inch-Thick Birch or Maple (Heavier and Smoother) or Pine (Lighter with more grain) Plywood tops. sides and 2 underneath braces make our boards light weight and no bounce. Compare with other boards, most are 1/2 inch thick or less and sometimes particle board.
- Edges and hole are routed smooth, and corners are rounded.
- Legs are made with 2X3 studs for superior strength.
- Airmail brace between the legs.
- Pocket holes are used inside so no visible holes on top.
- Underneath and legs are treated with 2 coats of water-based poly. Tops have Primer, 4 coats of paint and 1 coat of poly! All Poly coated (4 or 5 coats) top is used when needed.
- All cornhole boards for sale have side handles to carry easily.
- 15 1/2-ounce duck cotton bags (available) are filled with corn, so they provide a puff of dust when thrown. Bags are frozen for 4 days to prevent bugs from coming to life in your bags.
- Tournament ready with 12” rise in the back and 3 1/4” rise in the front.
